What is hsc (hsc and ssc)
HSC full form is an higher Secondary Certificate board in India. In the present, there are 52 boards that are sanctioned in India serving 30 states. For example, West Bengal is home to six types of boards such as the Board of Primary Education, Board of Secondary education, the board of Madrasah education, Council of Rabindra open schooling, the state council of vocational education & training and Council of Higher Secondary Education.
The largest number of boards are affiliated to the states, and Higher Secondary or HSC is the final board. Students are admitted to college afterward.
Overview of HSC Boards and Exam Pattern
The HSC acronym stands for the Higher secondary board comprising two years of classes I and XII which lead to the higher secondary test. It has three different streams to choose from: sciences, commerce and arts. Additionally students can choose from a variety of cross combinations like bioscience or pure science. There are many different subjects in commerce to pick from.
The exams for HSC meaning are conducted in March. Students have to secure 40% marks in the primary 5 subjects out of 6 for passing the exam. The grades are given to students in accordance with their percentile marks scored out of 100. For science-related subjects, 30 marks are kept aside for practical papers.
Subjects Covered in Higher Secondary Exams

India
In India, HSCor Intermediate is known in India as 12th class (also known as +2) exam which is held at the state level through the boards that govern state education like (Maharashtra board, MP board, Odia board, Bihar board, among others) as well at the federal level, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education, Sikkim (BOSSE) and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). CBSE is the only one to conduct this exam each year. NIOS conducts this twice a year in public examinations with the option of conducting exams on-demand. The other exam is the 10th class exam is also administered at the state levels by the states' boards of education and at the national level by the Central Board of Secondary Education and in India this exam is referred to under the designation of SSC exam. There are a total of six subjects in HSC examination that differ for each State Board but common in the case of the Central Board of Secondary Education
Pakistan
The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), also known as Intermediate It is an open examination taken by the pupils of Higher Secondary High School, also known as Intermediate college (Junior college) in Pakistan. After passing Matriculation in Grade 9 , and 10 students will then be admitted to into an intermediate college and complete the grades 11 and 12. Upon completion of each of the two years, they have to take standardized tests in their academic subjects. They are administered through provincial bodies at provincial level and by the FBISE at the federal level. If they pass these examinations, students are awarded with the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). This type of ducation is also called the FSc/FA/ICS. There are a variety of streams that students can select from for their 11 and 12 years of, such as pre-medical, engineering the sciences (or the social sciences) Computer science, humanities and commerce. Each stream comprises three electives, in addition, three compulsory subjects like English, Urdu, Islamiyat (grade 11 only) and Pakistan Studies (grade 12 only).
Nepal
National Examination Board (Nepal) is in charge of conducting and managing all senior school examinations that comprise 11th and12th grade Higher Secondary exams (10+2) 11th and 12th grades SEE Test, and 8th grade District Level Examination. After passing the Higher Secondary Exams an applicant will be allowed to go to university.
Aside from National higher secondary exam, Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) GCE Advanced Level qualifications (known as A-level) is also offered by a few of the public, private or international school. A level is regarded as comparable as the National examinations for high schools (10+2) examination.
